Guide to Downloading

We know downloading from Megaupload (MU) is a pain sometimes. So, here's a handy guide on how to download faster. You will need to install extra programs, so if you do not want to, you can choose to download from MU the regular way. Note that the instructions provided here are only one-time procedures, and can be used with any MU download, not only with those of Cymphonia's.

Warning: Download, buy and install at your own risk.

If you have the money...

You may choose to buy IDM or Internet Download Manager, our most recommended download manager. Despite its commonplace name, it's actually a very effective download manager, enabling you to download really fast from MU.

Just search for it and Google, download it and install it. As far as we know and have used it with MU, no additional tweakings are necessary.

If you don't have the money...

Don't worry. You also have an alternative. LeechGet 2004 Personal Edition is what we use, and it's also very effective. However, you need to change some of the options (which isn't as hard as you think, believe me). Of course, you need to download and install it first. Search for it in Google.

In the LeechGet window, go to Extras > Options. In the General Tab (it's the first one open, so you don't need to click anything else), the last option is "Default number of Tasks". A different number may be specified there, so you have to put 1. That's it!

IDM/LeechGet is usually configured to capture clicks in Internet Explorer, so downloading would not be a problem.

If you're using Firefox...

Some download managers are not fully supported by Firefox and vice versa. To solve this problem, you need to download the FlashGot plugin, which can be found in Mozilla's official plugin page. After you install the plugin and restart Firefox, it automatically detects installed download managers, and makes them work seamlessly as with Internet Explorer.
